During the festive period, as well as ticking items off your Christmas shopping list, you'll be able to watch local artists and makers at work thanks to the Mill's busy schedule of pop-up studios.
The launch evening of 'Christmas at the Mill' on Saturday 2 November 6 - 8pm promises to be a particularly good opportunity to meet many of the resident, pop-up and specially invited makers and artists.
Some of Dorset's most loved makers are still in permanent residence at the Mill, including silk weaver Debby Kirby, printmaker-illustrator Robin Mackenzie, contemporary aluminium artist Caroline Parrott and artisan embroiderer Jen Goodwin.
There's now even more to see at Walford Mill, thanks to the resident makers' efforts to secure the future of this well respected Dorset venue. Perhaps you'll be inspired to book on a workshop in the Mill's new light and airy teaching space, which is now on the ground floor and therefore accessible to everyone! Don't forget to pop to the bistro in the grounds of the Mill for a warming cup of coffee or a light lunch.
