This book combines the clever details of my original leather Memory Books with the vegan characteristics of my popular Cork Sketchbooks. It's perfect if you want a keepsake book for sticking in photographs, postcards, tickets etc as well as writing or sketching by hand.
This scrapbook is bound by hand in a simple exposed spine style that lends attractive detail, but also allows you use every scrap of each page. It's a softcover, flexible style that lets the pages stay open for easy use. The spacing of the stitching will be slightly wider than shown in these images.
It has 128 pages of heavyweight cartridge paper with spacers inbetween the pages so that when you stick in your mementoes, they don't stress the binding. I recommend using glue dots, photo corners or washi tape for this. Pages are large enough for standard postcard size and photos up to a maximum of 7 x 5 inches. (For larger inclusions, a leather Memory Book is preferable.)
Cork textile is sustainable and naturally vegan. It's soft and warm to the touch, yet robust and water resistant. It's a good choice if you prefer non-leather, sustainable personal items.

Please note that cork may fray slightly along cut edges; I've done everything to minimise this but I wanted to make you aware. It hasn't proven to be a problem for the people who have ordered Cork Sketchbooks from me, but to get in touch if you want to ask about this aspect, or indeed anything else.
