Handmade with care

I have been making books since 2008 and have a wealth of experience and a variety of tools at my disposal to make sure your handmade sketchbook is as durable as it is beautiful. Because cork is a textile, I treat its edges with a plant-based substance to prevent fraying, to ensure you can get a lot of use and pleasure from your sketchbook. 

I use a special Japanese tool to create the cover's sewing stations, meaning each is precisely shaped, rather than pierced and torn. This means that - unlike other handmade cork vegan books - your book is of the very highest quality.

To minimise waste and increase my studio's sustainability, I use cork offcuts - small pieces left over after making these A5 sketchbooks - to make super cute, easy to gift cork vegan Miniature Journals.
