This softcover A5 Vegan Sketchbook is bound in Mustard Yellow cork textile with Olive details. It's the perfect gift for vegans and creatives who prefer environmentally sustainable goods. Cork is a renewable natural resource and an eco-friendly alternative to plastic-based vegan 'faux' leathers. The exposed spine binding is stitched in linen, one of the most sustainable fibres on earth.
This book has 192 pages of quality 140gsm cartridge paper made from recycled coffee cups. It's an 'all-media' paper that's suitable for a variety of dry art mediums as well as light watercolour, acrylic or gouache. It's also perfect for writing in fountain pen, ballpoint or biro. The pages stay open and you can work up to the spine.
Cork textile is perfect if you prefer environmentally sustainable, ethical goods. It's soft and smooth, just lovely to handle. It's also durable and water resistant. Please note that cork textile may fray ever so slightly along cut edges; this hasn't proven an issue to any of my customers, but do get in touch if you'd like to discuss.
