This tactile Leather Sketchbook is individually bound by hand in Mustard leather, with Natural linen thread and linen ribbon to close. It's also suitable for use as a journal or notebook.

Heritage style, natural materials

Inside it has 192 pages of 140gsm acid-free recycled cartridge paper with hand-torn deckle edges. This book's natural materials make it such a pleasure to use and handle, whether you like to write or draw. An unbleached woven linen ribbon keeps the softcover book closed when not in use.

Leather bound sketchbook that will last

The special Longstitch with Linkstitch binding features exposed stitching along the spine that allows the book to lie open on a table. This makes the sketchbook flexbile but robust, ensuring it's easy to use and that it will never, ever fall apart.

    A gift for Maya

Maya is my great niece, and this book was created for her by Susan Green, we chose the colours but the finished final book was Susan’s work, and we added a painted book dragon, they hide in the pages, very carefully.

Maya’s cousin painted the dragon, they both are impressed by dragons. I hope wherever Maya’s imagination will go this book will go with her......

Susan’s work is meticulous, just right for someone approaching eleven with an amazing imagination.
