It's designed as a good all-rounder, the kind of sketchbook you can use for everything and take everywhere, with a lay-flat binding and 140gsm cartridge paper for wet and dry art media.

• Lay-flat The special binding style features exposed stitching along the spine, which lets the pages lie open on a table - so it's really practical and comfortable to work in. No need to weigh or hold down the pages with binder clips, etc.
• Versatile surface Whether you prefer drawing in pencil, pen or other dry media, the tooth and surface of this paper takes it all, as well as erased work. It's also great for painting and outperforms heavier papers. This is a modern recycled paper that is also enjoyable for writing with fountain pen, ballpoint or biro, so this book makes a lovely journal or notebook, too.
• Archival & practical No glue is used in this accomplished binding style, instead the pages are carefully hand sewn through the sketchbook's leather cover. This makes the book flexible yet robust, and means it will never, ever fall apart.
