This lay-flat Watercolour Sketchbook is carefully bound by hand in the exposed spine Longstitch binding, in finest quality Duck Egg leather with Coral linen thread, one of my most popular colourways. It has 48 lay-flat pages of 300gsm cold pressed paper for watercolours and all other wet media.

Features & Benefits

• Professional paper. The substantial, 300gsm / 140lb fine grain Langton watercolour paper is cold-pressed and sized for wet media such as watercolours, gouache, acrylic and ink. The paper is acid-free and archival, ensuring colours remain as vibrant and true as the day you painted them. 
• Lay-flat binding. The Longstitch exposed spine style allows the sketchbook's pages to stay open and lay flat. That means you can work on every part of each page, even right up to the spine. And you won't need to hold the pages down with weights or binder clips.
• Portable and convenient. Lightweight and designed with convenience in mind, this leather sketchbook features a fob that fastens securely over a brass coloured metal stud that keeps the book closed for travel or storage. (It's best to store your sketchbook flat, rather than standing it on a shelf.)
• Durable and hardwearing. Each of the 8 sections of pages are hand stitched through the book's leather cover. That means no glued spines to fall apart, or pages threatening to detach from their cardboard covers. Instead, this sketchbook will be your companion for life.

• A5 medium: 15 x 21 cm / 6 x 8.5 inches. Offers more space and makes a fine addition to your studio practice.
