It's the perfect autumnal gift for artists who like eco-friendly, sustainable or vegan art sketchbooks. Cork is a renewable natural resource and an eco-friendly alternative to plastic-based vegan 'faux' leathers. The exposed spine binding is stitched in linen, one of the most sustainable fibres on earth.
With 192 pages of quality 140gsm cartridge paper made from recycled coffee cups, this book is eco-friendly all the way! The paper is 'all-media' and ideal for a variety of dry art mediums, light watercolour, acrylic or gouache. It's also great for writing in fountain pen, ballpoint or biro. The pages stay open, which means you can work right up to the spine of each page.
Cork textile is great if you prefer eco-friendly, ethical goods. It's soft and smooth, so it's a real joy to use. It's also durable and water resistant! Please note that cork textile may fray ever so slightly along cut edges; this hasn't proven an issue to any of my customers, but do get in touch if you'd like to discuss.
