Cork Vegan Mini Journals have 100 pages of 115gsm unlined 'Superfine' paper with hand torn deckle edge and a colophon on the final page for handmade authenticity.
Enjoy using any kind of fountain pen, biro, ballpoint or pencils on the incredibly smooth pages, but you might want to avoid Sharpies and other markers.
The archival quality, acid-free paper that I selected for these little notebooks is FSC certified and manufactured by windpower with zero greenhouse gas emissions, making these Mini Journals a truly eco-friendly addition to your stationery collection.
Feel good about your stationery choices, knowing that Cork textile is produced from the bark of the Cork Oak tree, an environmentally sustainable, naturally renewable resource, the harvesting of which is protected by law, with rest periods for the trees to regenerate.
Cork is a naturally vegan alternative to leather, which nevertheless shares some of its properties: soft, strong and durable. It's also the truly eco-friendly alternative to 'faux' leathers, which are often made from plastic.
Cork is a textile so I treat the edges of these mini vegan notebooks with a plant-based substance to prevent fraying. This ensures you'll get lots of use and enjoyment from your Miniature Journal over the years.
That's not something you usually see with handmade cork journals, as this extra process takes time, but I want to make the very best work so you can enjoy your purchase.
