This handmade sketchbook is perfect if you prefer sustainable art supplies. That's because cork is a naturally renewable resource protected by law, and the quality recycled cartridge paper is made from disposable coffee cups. What's more, the binding thread is pure linen, one of the most sustainable natural materials on earth.
Cork textile is warm and smooth to the touch, making this a lovely book to handle and use. It's also hypoallergenic and water-resistant, so it's practical, too. It's a naturally vegan alternative to leather, and an earth-friendly answer to synthetic 'faux' leathers that are plastic based.

I have been making books since 2008 and have a wealth of experience and an array of tools at my disposal to make sure your handmade sketchbook is as beautiful as it is practical. Because cork is a textile, I treat its edges with a plant-based substance to prevent fraying, to ensure you can get a lot of use and pleasure from your sketchbook.
I use a special Japanese tool to create the cover's sewing stations, meaning each is precisely shaped, rather than pierced and torn. This means that - unlike other handmade cork vegan books - your book is of the very highest quality.
