A5 Vegan Sketchbook bound by hand in Burnt Orange cork textile with warm Brown details. It's a lovely gift for artists who like eco-friendly, sustainable or vegan art journals. Cork is a renewable natural resource and an eco-friendly alternative to plastic-based vegan 'faux' leathers. The exposed spine binding is stitched in linen, one of the most sustainable fibres on earth.
Adding to the feel-good factor, this sketchbook has 192 pages of quality 140gsm cartridge paper made from recycled coffee cups. It's 'all-media' paper ideal for a variety of dry art mediums, as well as light watercolour, acrylic or gouache. It's also great for writing in fountain pen, ballpoint or biro. The pages lay flat, so you can work right up to the spine of every page.
Cork textile is ideal if you prefer eco-friendly, ethical goods. It's soft and smooth, so lovely to handle. It's also durable and water resistant! Please note that cork textile may fray ever so slightly along cut edges; this hasn't proven an issue to any of my customers, but do get in touch if you'd like to discuss.
