This A5 Vegan Sketchbook is handmade in cork textile, a renewable natural resource and an eco-friendly vegan 'faux leather'. It has 192 pages of 140gsm cartridge paper made from recycled coffee cups that's lovely for writing on, as well as sketching.
The pages are a good weight and suitable for all pens, pencils, dry art media and light wash. So this versatile book also serves as an excellent journal or notebook. The pages are collected into 8 signatures, each individually hand stitched, which allows the pages to lie open on a desk.
This is a softcover Journal / Sketchbook that's bound in Grey linen thread in a Longstich exposed spine binding. A cork strap and stitched buckles at front and back keep it closed. Cork textile is soft and smooth and lovely to handle, yet also durable and water resistant.
It's the perfect choice if you prefer environmentally sustainable, ethical goods.
A5 medium 8.5 x 6 inches / 21 x 15cm approximately.
This book is made to order, please allow up to 4 weeks plus delivery from the UK. If you need it sooner than that please contact me as I may be able to help.

This book is gorgeous, and you can feel the quality of the craftsmanship that has gone into it. The cork is soft and supple, and the book feels very durable.
We bought one as a gift, and are so impressed that we immediately came back to order another!
I have this note book in the mini as well as this size. This one I use for journaling and doodling, being a creative mind that needs to have an outlet.
The vegan leather is so soft and the colour is gorgeous. The extra little specks of gold adds a luxurious feel to it. It makes me feel special when I use it, knowing it’s handcrafted with love by the talented Susan.
A friend of mine admired it and thought something like this would be a perfect gift for her father in law, who is a bona fide poet and I can only agree. It would also make a gorgoeus prop for photos, staging of houses or just as a decoration on a coffee table. It really is that lovely!
