I must admit I'm a newcomer to In The Moment, which is dedicated to 'mindful ways to live your life well', but I'm already a fan. Great articles, seasonal creative activities, beautiful images and some thoughtful suggestions for when it's time to go shopping.

It's so good to see recommendations for handmade stationery goods, and the recognition that a lot of love and care go into making them. That's not something you get with a mass-produced notebook. A handmade journal - from a professional maker - combines traditional skills, a respect for materials, and the utmost care over workmanship.

I now offer vegan journals and sketchbooks - take a look at my Sustainable Collection. They're bound with with cork textile instead of leather. Cork shares many of the same properites as leather; it's hard-wearing, water resistant and very tactile.
It's made from the bark of the Cork Oak tree, a naturally-renewable natural resource. Harvesting of the bark is kept within sustainable limits by law. So as well as being vegan, my Cork Journals and Sketchbooks are sustainable (especially as their 140gsm pages are made from recycled coffee cups!)
