Towards the end of last year I had a request for Artist's Sketchbooks bound in leather with watercolour paper from my local stockist Walford Mill Crafts in Wimborne, Dorset. I took the opportunity to experiment with a slightly different Longstitch binding style, new closure options (tabs and studs), as well as some new colour combinations. I hope you love the brand new colour combinations as much as I do; Mustard & Olive is a particular favourite of mine and with customers so far; Oxblood, Teal & Mustard is very warm; Duck Egg & Sherbet Lemon is a nice fresh colourway and there are some in the perennial favourite - dark blue. Watercolour paper: 300 gsm cold presssed, fine grain paper which is acid free, FSC certified and made in England. I've heard from a calligrapher that this paper is great for calligraphy; it's also thick enough for collage and mixed media and it would be good for writing or drawing if you prefer a really sturdy page.
Cartridge paper: 150 gsm smooth paper for all dry mediums.
Pastel paper: 160 gsm fine art paper in varied tones with a slighty textured surface.
