This Cotton Rag Sketchbook is a slightly more luxurious, extra tactile version of the popular 'Wabi Sabi' Sketchbooks. Bound with Old Gold velvet ribbon and the finest French linen thread, it has 210gsm handmade paper for wet and dry artwork, embroidery stitching and collage.

  • Wet & dry media The 100% cotton rag paper is 210gsm, acid-free and medium surface. It's gelatine sized so it takes a variety of wet media really well. Its natural tooth and texture provides a good grip for dry media like charcoal and pencil, too. It's even suitable if you want to experiment with embroidery stitching on paper!
  • Lay-flat / 360 degrees The exposed spine binding allows the pages of your sketchbook to lay flat on a desk; no need to weigh the pages down or hold them open with binder clips, and you can work right into the gutter of each page. The binding also lets the sketchbook open up in a 360 degree circle, an inviting way to display its contents.
